What is your availability?

 

We have many chair covers in stock so can accommodate more than 1 event at any one time however it is advisable to book as soon as you can.

 

Can I book in advance for 2009?

 

Yes – We are taking bookings for 2009 at the same price you see on our price list!

 

Which colours do you have in stock?

 

We stock good quality White, Blue, Ivory and Black chair covers.

 

Sashes – White, Ivory, Lilac, Baby pink, Baby Blue, chocolate brown, Gold, Navy blue, Royal blue, Light Blue, Burgundy, Silver, Christmas red, Christmas Green, Black, Sunflower Yellow, turquoise, Sea foam,

 

We will be adding on more colours in the future according to customer demand, so if your choice of colour is not on the list above, please let us know as we can order it in from our suppliers.

 

 

What size chair covers do you supply?

 

Our covers fit the common round top banquet chair design, the square top banquet chair and the Cheltenham gilt chair. These are the designs most venues use.If possible we would like a digital photo of the hotel chairs to make sure they are the correct cover for the chair.

 

How do I book?

 

Please fill in the on line booking form or drop us an Email with your requirements. We will contact you advising on availability and a firm quote. Please pay £100 deposit to secure your date  by sending a cheque to Beautiful Chair Hire made payable to Chris Clinkard agent for Beautiful Chair Covers.

 

Please note bookings are NOT made until the deposit is received.

 

How do I order a sample?

 

We charge £19.99 for all each sample sent out. We only send out samples on receipt of payment. This cost is then deducted from your order. Please advise us on your choice of sample e.g round, square or Gilt chair.

 

How much is delivery?

 

£40 anywhere in the UK mainland (courier service).

Within Oxfordshire delivery is free on order over £200.

 

When will delivery and collection be?

 

Delivery will be to the delivery address you have given us, 1 or 2 days before your event date and collection will be the next working day after your event

Do you set up?

 

Set up service is available within 30 miles of Oxford.

The charge for fitting is 80p a chair (minimum order of 100 chairs).

However from experience it takes 2 people who have never done this before about an hour to fit 100 chair covers & tie 100 bows.

Most venues are happy to put the chair covers on however it is advisable to ask them first.

 

When is the full balance expected?

 

8 weeks before the event date.

 

Do I need to pay a damage or loss deposit?

 

Unfortunately we have to request a deposit (please see terms & conditions page) against loss or any irreparable damage. This will be returned as soon as the chair covers/sashes are checked and counted. Full replacement cost of £14 will be charged for each chair cover & £5 for each sash lost or damaged.

 

What is considered as damage?

 

Minor food & drink stains on the cover and minor shoe damage round the bottom of the chair covers is acceptable and will not be charged for, however more serious marking such as candle wax, crayon, marker pens, footprints on the seat, burns and rips or if the cover has been dragged along the floor/outside will be considered as damage and a replacement charge will be required.

 

When do we need to return the covers?

 

We usually book the courier to pick up the chair covers on the next working day after the event as stated in our terms and conditions unless this has been discussed prior to hiring the chair covers. All pick up failures will be charged for. If you have picked up the chair covers yourself we will want them back on the next working day so they can be laundered in time for the next event.

Standard ordering Procedures & Conditions for Hire

Orders

 

Linen orders can be placed by letter, telephone, fax or e-mail.

 

 

All orders will be confirmed by the method you advise.

 

 

Special orders for unusual or non-stock items will be taken at management discretion, a special order fee of £ 10.00 ex VAT might apply ask for full details before ordering.

 

 

Orders should be placed at least 72 hours in advance of delivery date.

 

 

Orders at less than 72 hours notice will be termed special orders and will be taken at management discretion subject to stock at that time.

 

 

Delivery and Collection charges will be quoted on all orders when placed.

 

 

Orders are delivered by our vans within our base area and by courier service to other areas.

 

 

Cancellations & Amendments

 

 

Cancellation of your full order will incur cancellation charges as follows:

 3 – 6 days                       50% of full charge.

 

 

 Less than 72 hours          Full charge payable.

 

 

Amendments to orders will incur charges as follows:

Amendments cannot normally be made after 10am on the day BEFORE the DELIVERY DAY, any such amendment will be at management discretion, subject to stock at that time and will be termed a special order.

 

 

Special Orders

 

Any special order that is cancelled will be charged IN FULL.

 

 

Payment Terms

 

7 Day Accounts may be set up on completion of a Credit Application.

 

All non - account orders must be paid for prior to dispatch.

 

By Cash:    In person at our office by arrangement.

 

By Cheque: Any cheque must reach us no later than 10 days prior to dispatch of your order.

 

 

Deliveries and Collections

 

Deliveries will be made between 9am and 5.30pm.

 

In our base area deliveries will be on the normal service day for your postcode, in all other areas deliveries will be as arranged.

 

It is important to ensure that there is someone available at the delivery/collection location to sign for your order.

 

The standard delivery day for a weekend hire will normally be Thursday. In some cases we might ask you to take earlier delivery for reasons of logistics*.

 

Collections from a weekend hire will be Monday or Tuesday (you will be advised which day) between 9am and 5.30pm.

 

 

Please ensure that all linen is packed back in its respective bags or boxes by 9am. The drivers cannot wait for consignments that are not ready for collection.

 

 

A second visit will incur a wasted journey fee and might incur extra hire charges.

 

 

(Min. charge £35.00 ex VAT).

 

 

Special Delivery

 

Courier Service timed delivery can be arranged, EXTRA charges will apply contact us for a quote.

 

 

Loss of and damage to Linen

 

 

You will be notified of any damaged or lost linen, normally within 10 days of the order return date. Should you find linen after collection please contact us at once.

 

 

Damaged cloths will be repaired or replaced at management discretion and the charges will be made to you. Stains and or Mildew that cannot be removed by the laundry process will result in replacement charges.

 

Damaged cloths will remain the property of the company

 

Damp Linen

 

Please allow any damp linen time to dry before re-packing into the boxes/bags. Damp linen can be ruined by mildew, within hours. Any mildew stains that cannot be removed by the laundry process will result in full replacement charge for that cloth.

 

 

Linen Returned Unused

 

Linen returned unused will not be refunded or credited.

 

 

Linen Bags & Boxes

 

The linen will be dispatched to you in our bags or boxes.

 

These are only to be used to transport the linen from us to you and back again. Linen should be transferred into your own bags for any onward movement.

 

All bags and boxes must be treated with care and kept dry.

 

 

A minimum charge of £40.00 ex VAT will be raised for the loss of, or any serious damage to any bag, or box.

 

 

Hire Charges

 

 

Up to 6 days                   Standard rate

 

 

7 days - 10 days              1.5 x Standard Rate

 

 

11 days - 14 days            2 x Standard Rate

 

Longer Durations            Price on application

 

 

If we advance your delivery date (see above *) this will not effect your hire charge.

 

 

Definitions and Law

 

The contract is the document or documents that set out these conditions and all other details about your agreement with us.

 

The contract shall be interpreted under the Laws of England and Wales and any dispute shall be under the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.

 

 

“We” and “Us” and “Our” mean  Beautiful Chair Covers , supplier of the goods and services.

 

“You” or “Your” means the buyer/hirer of the goods and services.

 

The “Goods” mean all goods to be sold/hired/repaired by us to you

 

The “Recipient” means the person, firm, company, corporation or public authority to whom the goods are delivered, when it is not you.

 

 

These conditions exclude any terms and conditions you may have put forward, except where we have agreed to any amendments or other conditions in writing.

 

Limit of our liability

 

We will not be liable for any delays caused by any circumstances beyond our control.

 

We will not be liable for any indirect loss, loss of business, profits, savings you expected to make, wasted money, fees or expenses, wages, due to late collection/delivery, non-delivery, non-collection, unsuitability, breakdown or stoppage of the goods or any part of them.

 

 

All times we state or quote for delivery/collection are approximate.

 

 

All quoted sizes of linen is "Factory Gate" there will be some shrinkage in all cloth.

 

 

Risk to Goods

 

The risk in the goods will pass to you immediately on delivery of the goods to you or the recipient.

 

 

It is your responsibility to ensure that the goods are fully covered by insurance with regard to theft, damage, and public liability risks.

 

 

Goods in Transit - Where goods are delivered and collected by Courier service. Goods in transit insurance for loss or damage to the linen whether for hire or sale or repair is at the courier's standard rate. Rates on application. If required, you can increase the courier's standard insurance, but there will be an added charge for this. Please request increased insurance when making your booking.

 

 

General Conditions

 

We shall make our best efforts to supply you with the goods requested, but we reserve the right to supply you with similar goods.

 

 

All goods for hire remain our property. All goods for sale remain our property until payment in full has been made.

 

 

It is your responsibility to check the goods on delivery and to notify us of any discrepancies between goods supplied and goods ordered. Complaints made after the return of the goods will not be considered.

 

 

Deliveries to third parties or unoccupied premises are made entirely at your risk.

 

 

Prices: The price charged for goods and services will be that shown in the current price list held at our office, copies available upon request. The price lists contained in this web site were correct as at the date shown under the heading "Last Update". We shall make our best efforts to ensure that the price lists are regularly updated, however we do not guarantee that this is always possible. You are advised to confirm prices before placing your order.

 

Rights Reserved

 

Any failure by us to enforce any part of these conditions shall not amount to or be interpreted as a waiver of the remaining parts. We reserve any and all of our rights.

 

 

E-Mail

 

We will only send e-mails to you if you have given us your e-mail address (i.e. sent us an e-mail or requested an e-mail from us by phone or in writing). Please beware of false e-mails, some have been detected using false beautiful-linen.com addresses. If in doubt contact us to confirm the status of a message. We cannot under any circumstances whatsoever accept any responsibility for damage caused by false e-mails.

 

Any e-mails received by us that are deemed to be "spam"  will have the sender address blocked at our mail servers
